The role will assist with Inspection Engineer with integrity management and inspection-based scopes, including the preparation of Inspection Work Scopes, reviewing of inspection & NDT reports and findings, liaising with NDT technicians and Offshore Inspection Engineers.
Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline or, HNC/HND qualified with plant inspection training/qualification preferred.
Report writing experience with strong attention to details.
Ability and willingness to travel offshore if / when required.
Knowledge of relevant national and international standards relating to oil industry equipment and processes.
Knowledge of NDT Inspection techniques. (Desirable).
Previous experience of offshore environment. (Desirable).
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to use bespoke databases.
Willingness and capability to build on existing skills and develop professionally.
Confident communicator both orally and written.
Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding environment.
Flexible in approach and ability to work as part of a team.
Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN’s Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
