Description

Roles & Responsibilities include installing test articles on solid oxide fuel cell testing stations and conducting leak tests using standard pressure decay methods. The employee also completes pre‑install checklists on the test bench.

The role further involves managing inventory of tools and equipment, executing tasks directed by supervisors or engineers, and logging data using basic MS Word and Excel skills. Additionally, the employee handles laboratory analytical instruments.

• Install test articles on solid oxide fuel cell testing stations.
• Conduct leak tests using standard pressure decay procedures.
• Complete pre‑install checklists for the test bench.
• Manage inventory of tools and equipment for the test bench.
• Execute tasks assigned by supervisors or engineers.
• Log data with basic MS Word and Excel skills.
• Operate laboratory analytical instruments.
• Perform fitting, fixtures, ferruling, and leak checks.
• Use plumbing tools (wrenches, pliers, plungers) with appropriate PPE.
• Produce accurate documentation and reports.

Requirements

Candidates should hold an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical fitting and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. They must have hands‑on experience with fittings, fixtures, ferruling, leak checks, and plumbing tools such as wrenches, pliers, and plungers, while using appropriate safety PPE.

The position requires the ability to work independently, follow SOPs, and produce clear documentation and reports of performed work.
