Work with and communicate with the entire production crew. Build knowledge of production operation and learn how to operate equipment at desired rates with minimum downtime. Communicate with crews, supervisors, and leads about production, quality, and safety issues.
Maintain a safe and clean work area to avoid personal injury or property damage, using proper safety equipment and following all procedures. Learn and operate machinery, assist with changeovers, and be able to operate equipment such as strapper, brick machine, robots, dehacker, dehacker forkhead, and unloading forklift. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to help throughout the plant, work as a team player, and meet production quotas as discussed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lb occasionally and regularly twist, stoop, and bend. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times, including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel‑toe shoes. Follow all plant policies and procedures for production, quality, and safety.
The position follows a 2‑2‑3 schedule with 12‑hour shifts and mandatory overtime as needed. Example schedule: Week 1 – work Monday/Tuesday, off Wednesday/Thursday, work Friday/Saturday/Sunday; Week 2 – off Monday/Tuesday, work Wednesday/Thursday, off Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
