Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure.
Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline.
Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures.
Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline.
Establish and review documentation and filing system.
Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies.
Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section.
Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities.
Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices.
Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness.
Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities.
Plan and provide budget for the Section.
Conduct / participate in emergency exercises.
Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders.
Monitor expenditures within approved budget.
Perform Standby Duties after office hours.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure.

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore.
Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous.
Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
