As a Machine Operator/Attendant you will run packaging equipment, conduct quality control inspections, and troubleshoot issues to keep production flowing safely and efficiently. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work any shift, including rotating, weekend, and holiday schedules.
All employees must consistently use safe work practices, follow established safety rules, and wear required personal protective equipment such as protective shoes, glasses, ear plugs, hard hats, gloves, and respirators when needed. Immediate reporting of hazardous conditions is a core expectation.
Our 28‑day working cycle follows a DuPont schedule that alternates between day and night shifts, with patterns such as 4 on 3 off, 3 on 1 off, and 7 off, totaling 14 working days per month. Flexibility to adapt to this rotating schedule is essential.
The job is physically demanding, requiring regular standing, walking, repetitive motions, and frequent lifting of up to 50 lb, with occasional assisted lifts of up to 100 lb. The work environment is an industrial manufacturing floor with heavy machinery, high noise levels, variable temperatures, and exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals, necessitating appropriate PPE.
The position offers an hourly base rate of $19.91, with a starting rate of $19.33 per hour and scheduled increases every six months. This competitive compensation reflects the fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment of our Penbryn manufacturing facility.
