OT Integration Specialist I

Description

The role is responsible for project execution and resourcing of telecommunications, infrastructure, and network‑related tasks, working closely with site teams. It involves designing, configuring, integrating, testing, launching, troubleshooting, and supporting both new and existing networking technologies, while providing hands‑on technical expertise to assist non‑technical teams in high‑pressure lab and production environments.

• Minimum 3–5 years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Demonstrated experience with service or support operations.
• Understanding of PV solar plant construction timelines for telco, infrastructure, and network activities.
• Understanding of O&M telco, infrastructure, and network activities.
• Experience managing incident ticket systems and processes.
• Ability to work with local and distributed remote international teams.
• Knowledge of business environments and IT alignment with critical functions.
• Proven ability to support computer and network hardware and software technologies.

• Detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of IP protocols, firewalls, and routers.
• Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting routers, hubs, and switches.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Hirschmann network equipment.
• Experience with VMware, SonicWALL, or Citrix.
• Experience collaborating with network engineers.
• Experience with enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, routers, firewalls, switches, VPN, network load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Experience with server‑based networking technologies (physical or virtual), routing, VPN, DNS, RADIUS, DHCP, etc.
• Knowledge of TCP/UDP ports, sessions, and network services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of data encryption, IDS/IPS, and anti‑virus software.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Azure Automation, and PowerShell.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCP.
• Understanding of controls engineering techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with electrical one‑line schematics.
• Knowledge of enterprise SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, Ignition SCADA).
• Understanding of industrial automation protocols and architecture (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC, DNP, etc.).
• Experience programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs, including ladder and function block diagrams.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
