Performing structural computations and analyses using industry-leading software
Participating in design meetings with internal teams and clients
Preparing and verifying quantity calculations and cost estimates
Designing and drafting engineering plans for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation structures
Working under the direction of licensed engineers to deliver work within established budgets and timelines
Reviewing your work—and assisting with reviews of CADD Technician work—for accuracy and completeness
Creating detailed structural drawings from sketches, notes, or verbal guidance with increasing independence as your skills grow
Visiting sites with engineers or field technicians to understand conditions, evaluate structures, or support construction coordination

General CADD experience required; MicroStation-based OpenBridge Designer or OpenRoads Designer preferred
Experience with 3D structural modeling is a plus
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

Minimum of two years of relevant experience
