Manage, mentor, and lead the payroll team with their day-to-day responsibilities in processing weekly & bi-weekly payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Provide training and development opportunities for Payroll Specialists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates to keep compliance, including Certified Payroll and Union Requirements.
Maintain and review Payroll Tax Filings submitted by UKG.
Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
Administer UKG Payroll System and Time Entry System in coordination with HR.
Ensure compliance with Certified Payroll reporting requirements, timely filings and accuracy of fringe and prevailing wages being paid.
Lead the design, improvement, and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
