Strong working knowledge of safeguarding practices in an educational setting
Knowledge of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and DfE funding rules for apprenticeships, including off-the-job training requirements, programme eligibility, and compliance expectations.
Experience supporting Ofsted inspections or external audits, contributing to evidence gathering, documentation, and continuous improvement planning.
A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent, a relevant Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1)and a Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (or equivalent IQA qualification
Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), demonstrating commitment to professional standards and sector development.
Relevant and up to date understanding of social housing legislation, including the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023, Awaab's Law, Fit for Habitation and its implications for housing and tenant rights.
Experience delivering or supporting Housing qualifications as a tutor, coach, or assessor, providing insight into curriculum design and learner engagement.
Experience in a similar Internal Quality Assurance role within vocational education, ideally involving Housing qualifications (Diplomas up to Level 5) and Housing Apprenticeship programmes (Level 3 and 4).
