Photographers also survey one‑mile‑square grids to identify commercial inventory, adhere to safety standards, and participate in conference calls as needed.
The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by collecting media for residential listings. Photographers are equipped with a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital photography gear, and an iPad to create virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photography within a defined territory.
The position requires frequent sitting in a vehicle, standing and walking up to eight hours per day, and the ability to lift equipment up to five pounds. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and be available for rotating weekend schedules.
Applicants need at least two years of professional real‑estate photography experience, a recent photography degree or equivalent, and a FAA Part 107 drone license obtained within 30 days of hire. Strong time‑management, detail orientation, data‑entry accuracy, communication, and proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications are required, along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Compensation is an hourly rate equating to $50,000 annually, with eligibility for monthly performance‑based bonuses tied to predefined metrics.
