Description

The role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting budgeted and actual cost information on construction projects, including monthly financial reporting, subcontractor and supplier financial compliance, and state tax compliance.

• Participate in monthly review of project budgets, costs, and profit.
• Research and audit projects or specific items as needed.
• Input and track data related to budgets and project costs.
• Produce owner billings for specific projects.
• Review subcontractor and supplier financial statements.
• Track and report fixed‑asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Research and file state tax requirements for construction projects.
• Continuously improve processing activities and reports to provide timely information.

Requirements

The position is office‑only and works both independently and as part of a team, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
• 1–3 years of accounting or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other PC applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Construction cost‑accounting experience (preferred).
• Experience with an audit firm (preferred).
