  • Use company technology such as MIS software, email and PC.
  • Address issues and help employees trouble shoot and problem solve.
  • Manage all daily operations of the direct mail department including scheduling, quality, support, training, and overall performance of the team.
  • Provide expert guidance in USPS compliance.
  • Make sure employees follow quality control practices in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Responsible for 10 mailroom employees over 2 shifts.
  • Overall quality and on-time production of the mailing dept. meeting and/or exceeding client specifications.
  • Work closely with production depts, customer service, and sales to keep jobs on track.

  • Working knowledge of inserting and inkjet addressing equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Mailing certifications such as MDP, FSC or EMCM are highly desired.
  • PC proficient. Working knowledge of PACE software a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of USPS regulations and compliancy.
  • Minimum 5 years' mailroom management experience in the direct mail industry.
  • Sense of urgency and works well under pressure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong employee training and mentoring skills.
  • Hands-on experience of mailroom equipment to assist and help troubleshoot as needed.
  • Adaptable and flexible to production changes.
