Description

• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance matters, communication, and policy interpretation.
• Support leaders in driving accountability, engagement, and consistent HR practices across teams.
• Lead onboarding experiences, ensuring smooth integration for new hires.
• Address employee questions professionally, confidentially, and promptly.
• Assist with employee development activities, early-tenure check-ins, and retention efforts.
• Support audits, reporting, and HR metrics.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams to support candidate coordination and communications.
• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource and trusted partner for managers.
• Work closely with an international team operating at the forefront of EV fast-charging technology.
• Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HRIS data.
• Assist with workforce planning activities, tracking, and documentation.
• Support payroll, benefits, and time/attendance processes as needed.
• Support initiatives that strengthen culture, communication, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance across multiple states and assist with investigations and corrective action documentation.

As we continue building our Charlotte headquarters and scaling our U.S. and Canadian operations, we are seeking a highly capable Human Resources Generalist to support our growing workforce and help establish the people infrastructure of a high-performance engineering organization.

Employee Experience

The HR Generalist will work directly with managers and employees to provide operational HR support across employee relations, coaching, HR policy implementation, compliance, onboarding, performance support, and organizational effectiveness. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.

This role is designed for an HR professional who brings strong operational expertise, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to supporting employees and managers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with clarity and professionalism, and brings a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to day-to-day HR needs.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• HRIS experience required; experience with Paycom preferred.
• Highly collaborative environment with strong visibility to leadership.
• Experience providing HR support in fast-paced, multi-industry environments.
• Six or more years of progressive HR experience (HRBP, HR Generalist, HR Assistant with increasing responsibility).
• Experience in manufacturing, service, technical, or operations-based environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
