We are looking for a Workshop Team Leader who will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are processed through the workshop to completion. The Team Leader supports, coaches and manages all team members including apprentices / trainees.

  • Monitoring and controlling costs of materials and labour on jobs.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions.
  • Plan and co-ordinate project work.
  • Maintain a safe working environment to avoid risks to self and others.
  • Sourcing and purchasing of materials, consumables and tooling.
  • Participate and encourage others to participate in company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to the workshop team.
  • Ensure adequate cover if provided on all shifts.
  • Arrange any third party or sub-contracting workshops.
  • Prepare for and attend production meetings.
  • Update status reports.
  • Arrange any third-party repairs and maintenance of fixed plant or equipment.
  • Prioritizing workload and labour to achieve maximum capacity to meeting deadlines.
  • Work within the company’s policies, procedures, operating standards, and work instructions.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates who can work on their own and alongside our experienced engineering team, solving complex technical issues associated with valve products. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.

  • Fully competent working alone on all valve and actuator types.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
  • Effective communication skills and a professional presentation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a workshop.
  • Diploma in Mechanical (Manufacturing) Engineering Technology, Instrumentation or similar diploma.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, both onshore and offshore, including client sites.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a project-based or industrial setting or additional qualifications in a relevant field is a plus.
