Contribute to internal QA/QC processes, documentation, and design reviews.
Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations, including horizontal/vertical alignments, grading, drainage, quantities, and traffic control layouts.
Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions and ensure project quality.
Participate in coordination with clients, utility companies, and permitting agencies as needed.
Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Assist with preparation of ODOT, DOT, LPA, or municipal submittals and ensure adherence to applicable design standards and guidelines.
Support preparation of project documents such as cost estimates, technical reports, design summaries, and bid packages.
Assist in the design and development of transportation projects including roadways, intersections, pedestrian facilities, and traffic improvements.
Conduct field visits to support data collection, condition assessments, surveying coordination, or construction observations.
Review and interpret topographic surveys, geotechnical reports, environmental documents, and utility data.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently as experience grows.
0–5 years of experience in transportation, roadway, or municipal infrastructure design.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience or familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
EIT/FE preferred; required for Engineer II level. PE-track candidates strongly preferred at higher level.
Ability to prepare or assist with design calculations, drawings, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with DOT, LPA, or municipal design standards is a plus.
Understanding of geometric design principles, drainage, traffic control, and plan development.
