CEI Senior Project Engineer

Description

• Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor’s expectations
• Assist with business development efforts for the CEI discipline (preparation of Letter of Response and other Technical Proposals, client contacts, consultant teaming, etc.)
• Assist in the strategy planning and growth of the PGA CEI group
• While performing the duties of this job including working on a computer, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods at a desk; use hands, handle, or feel, talk, and hear.
• Maintain responsible charge over multiple CEI projects
• Direct CEI group resources to produce a quality product
• Provide quality control reviews when necessary

This requires a versatile staff with a wide range of skills that are detail-oriented, proactive, and can anticipate, address, and resolve potential problems before they impact schedule and budget. Since CEI is naturally a discipline with multiple assignments going on at once, the ideal candidate should embrace this fast-moving environment and be excited to grow our reputation with existing and new clients. PGA seeks someone who is eager to support a diverse array of projects and grow professionally while fostering the continued growth of the group.

• Ability to direct and/or mentor staff
• Ability to deal with constant interruptions while working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high standards in all work efforts.
• Proficient with computer programs necessary to perform those duties.
• Shall become proficient with Trimble Business Center – Heavy Construction Edition.
• 10-20 years of progressively complex engineering experience
• FDOT Advanced MOT
• The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
• The employee must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida
• Superb interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator able to relay information concisely to stakeholders of all backgrounds.
