Design and manage plumbing systems for healthcare facilities, from concept to construction.
-Review submittals, produce meeting reports, and lead construction meetings -Troubleshoot operating systems and perform peer reviews -Independently plan and execute plumbing design projects -Apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex problems -Travel to job sites for evaluation and data collection -Prepare construction estimates and specifications -Attend job walks and contribute to proposal development
-Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) -National Plumbing Code -California P.E. or CPD registration (preferred) -AutoCAD (a plus) -5+ years of plumbing design experience in healthcare facilities -Strong understanding of healthcare codes and standards -California Energy Code -Ability to lead projects from concept through construction -HCAI codes and standards (strong knowledge preferred) -P.E. registration in other states is a plus -California Plumbing Code
