Plant Care Specialist

Description

• Exercise trained techniques to apply and maintain appropriate amounts of water per lighting conditions and plant requirements
• Ensure plants as well as display containers are clean and free of dust and debris
• Keep all plants free from diseases and insects
• Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements
• Regularly drive a service van/truck in urban and rural settings

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects
• Available to work Monday-Friday
• Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Recognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the business
• Experience caring for plants is preferred
• Solid communication and critical problem solving skills
• You will study to recieve your pesticide applicator certification within the first 6 months of hire
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Basic math skills —You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
