Description

The Scheduler will maintain close working relationships with the Project Team to ensure they meet or exceed Project Controls standards. This hands‑on role interfaces directly with estimating, design, and construction teams to manage quantity, cost, and schedule from the original estimate through project completion.

The position includes preparing CPM scenarios, gathering data for realistic forecasting, understanding project scopes and contracts, and communicating with owners to ensure satisfaction. It also involves analyzing schedule delays, mitigating risks, notifying management of contract notices and documentation issues, and supporting project pursuits through fee proposals and presentations.

• Prepare Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios and integrate them into complete schedules
• Gather and analyze historical and forecast data for realistic planning
• Develop understanding of project scopes and contracts
• Communicate with owners to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions
• Perform scheduling analysis of delays and impacts to mitigate risk
• Ensure project teams respond appropriately to schedule risks
• Notify management of contract notices, delays, and schedule documentation issues
• Participate in project pursuits, preparing fee proposals, RFP responses, and presentations
• Document schedule basis and critical assumptions for internal and external use
• Conduct monthly schedule audits
• Train Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling software and field work management
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, and possess 3–8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They should understand Earned Value Management and be proficient with document control tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office, as well as scheduling software like Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 3–8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System
• Proficiency with document control and office software (Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office)
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera 6, Microsoft Project)
