Support and manage permitting efforts by preparing submittals and coordinating with local and state agencies.
Prepare civil design plans, profiles, and details and serve as a technical lead for water and wastewater utility projects; Perform hydraulic modeling and capacity analysis for water and sewer systems (as applicable).
Conduct site visits to support design development and construction-phase services.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, clients and other engineering disciplines to support project delivery.
Assist with proposal development and scope definition for new opportunities, as needed.
Ensure design work complies with applicable codes, standards, and municipal requirements.

Experience with utility modeling software (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS) a plus.
8+ years of related water/wastewater experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (and/or similar design software).
Professional Engineer’s license in VA is preferred, will consider other states with the commitment of obtaining a Virginia PE within 6 months of starting employment
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead design tasks, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients and permitting agencies.
