Build and analyse 1D representations of fluid systems, including system architecture, pipework, components and control philosophy (mostly liquid, but some gaseous systems)
Author analysis reports which summarise key results for system performance including pressure drop, NPSHa, control philosophy, cavitation margin, thermal performance
Apply knowledge of thermo-fluid behaviour and system design principles to propose design/control modifications to meet system performance/safety requirements
In some scenarios, a higher fidelity 2D/3D analysis approach may be required and there may be opportunities to support the delivery of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis within the group
Scoping of analysis requirements to demonstrate a system meets its performance and safety requirements
Use analysis for sizing key components to achieve system requirements (i.e., pumps, valves, tanks, HX etc.)
