  • Calculate and set machine controls to position spindle in relationship to part and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow
  • Perform TPMs on equipment
  • Operate either manual machines or CNC machines where applicable
  • Assist Engineering with development on "First Run / Prove Out Programs"
  • Make offset adjustments to correct out of tolerance conditions
  • Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions
  • Verify fixture setup meets acceptable quality standards

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
  • General knowledge of all other shop processes
  • Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
  • Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
