Description

The Inside Sales Representative (Equipment Rental Specialist) is the front‑line contact for telephone and walk‑in customers. The role involves understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, and providing administrative support while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused attitude.

• Develop skills for career growth toward outside sales or operational management
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver solutions to customers
• Perform telephone and walk‑in support for equipment rentals
• Assess customer equipment needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Negotiate rental terms and process orders accurately
• Handle administrative tasks such as order entry and documentation
• Uphold professional attitude to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Leverage inside sales and customer service abilities for steady hours and overtime potential
• Minimum requirement: High School diploma or GED
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with construction and industrial tools/equipment
• Preferred: Previous equipment rental industry experience
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills
• Solid computer and administrative proficiency
• Preferred: Completion of DOT Qualification process
• Preferred: Bilingual ability (Spanish or other)
• Physical demands: bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50+ lb; work indoors/outdoors as required
• Related experience may include account management, rental sales, parts sales, service management, customer service, construction management, tools management, counter sales, equipment associate, manager trainee, skilled craftsman, brand ambassador
