• Prepare cases for trial from start to finish, including trial notebooks and exhibits
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Manage multiple deadlines while working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately track time and bill in accordance with insurance defense guidelines
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
• Create detailed medical chronologies and bill summaries
• Attend trials with the attorney and provide direct trial support

Requirements

Law Firm is seeking an experienced Trial Litigation Paralegal to support a highly active trial attorney who regularly takes cases to trial. This role is ideal for a hands-on paralegal with strong insurance defense experience, trial preparation expertise, and the confidence to attend trial alongside counsel.

• Experience in bodily injury and/or general liability matters strongly preferred
• 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and task-focused
• Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures
• Prior experience preparing cases for trial and attending trial with an attorney

Benefits

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience)

Hybrid Schedule: In-office full-time for first 90 days; hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 remote) thereafter
