- Optimising machine performance to reduce downtime by defining machine datums, proving out new jobs, and adjusting machine offsets.
- Working with diverse materials while ensuring adherence to tight tolerances and maintaining high-quality standards at each stage of production.
- Offline programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
- Conducting initial inspection checks to uphold machining tolerances and collaborating with inspectors to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture components according to exact specifications.
- Managing material control and identification in coordination with team leaders to streamline workflows.

- At least 4 years of experience in a CNC Turner position.
- Apprentice-trained (Preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues effectively.

- NVQ Level 3 (Preferred)
