Familiarity with WSDOT Standard Plans and Standard Specifications and Design Manual
Minimum 4 years of full-time experience in relevant civil/site development engineering design. (Internship experience is appreciated but does not count towards the three-year minimum requirement.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D and other engineering design software proficiency is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for developing design and project management skills.
Additional experience on waterfront and industrial site infrastructure is desirable.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
Learn to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to contribute to project success.
Proven capability to work dynamically and effectively in a collaborative environment.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience and ability to prepare roadway/transportation design documents and specifications is required
Advanced MicroStation, InRoads, and Openroads design experience is required.
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques
