Partake in Building System Meetings as MEP issues become prevalent. Provide support to Project Teams in getting solutions with Consultants.
Communicates and coordinates with the Owner, Consultants and Construction Team for clarification of project Scope of Work
Ensure all Building System Close out Documents are received from the corresponding party (i.e. Consultant, Subtrade, Commissioning Agent)
Promotes a team atmosphere to give the most opportunity for the staff to learn from each other.
Work with Project Team and communicate with Building Inspector as needed to ensure Occupancy requirements are being met.
Identifies opportunities for process and building system installation improvements (i.e. Value Engineering)
Lead Commissioning Meetings for the Building System Trades
Assist with the review of Major Building System Equipment Submittals like Major Mechanical Equipment, Major Electrical Equipment and Elevator/Escalator Submittals.
Provide support in Building System trade Project Kick-Off Meetings. (i.e., attend meetings as needed)
Participate in Project Walkthroughs with Architect, Engineer & Project Teams to review Building System Punchlist and provide support to Project Teams on resolving Building System Punchlist items and following up with the related subtrade(s).
Attends Site Meetings that contain a Building System component.
Ensure Life Safety Systems are ready for Occupancy.
Accountable for applications for water, gas and power utilities and obtains support from the Project Superintendents related to project specific loads for the related utility.
Reviews bid Levelling Sheets and partakes in Bid Levelling review meetings for Building System trades (i.e., Underslab Drainage, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Ventilation and Electrical, Elevator, Pool & Security packages), as needed.
Reviews complete set of Tender Documents for the Building System Trades alongside the Project team and provides support where needed in clarifying technical requirements.
Works with Consultants as needed.
Work with Project Teams on verifying MEP Changes for changes $100,000 or greater.

Thorough knowledge of quality management, risk management practices and techniques, procurement, construction documents, contracts and contract law, project reporting and scheduling & constructability.
Strong conflict management skills and the ability to be persuasive and motivating.
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and company operations specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures.
Minimum of eight (8) years of direct M&E Project Management leadership experience working in high-rise / ICI construction.
Post-secondary education degree or diploma in a construction related area of study.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with all business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to lead a team and develop talent.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
