The Plant Manager provides senior leadership at plant level and creates a positive environment for all associates. This leader drives customer service excellence, best‑in‑class quality, and high operating efficiency with outstanding manufacturing agility through lean and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated expertise in adding value through leadership by building strong high‑performing teams and achieving successful outcomes on complicated programs. Acts independently or as a member of a project team providing technical process guidance concerning business implications of various systems. Demonstrated success in a high‑mix Build‑to‑Order and Engineering‑to‑Order manufacturing environment with complex BOM structures. A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and detail‑oriented abilities, and the capacity to think abstractly to address ambiguous problems. Must possess a very strong background in Lean Manufacturing along with people‑management, motivational, and leadership skills, and proven expertise in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or 10+ years related experience, is required. Candidates must have 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving operational performance, with preferred experience in materials management, machining, manufacturing engineering, quality, and production.
