- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including water, sanitary, vent, storm, and gas piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to execute work accurately.
- Layout, assemble, and install piping, valves, fixtures, and equipment using proper methods and tools.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues on‑site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, project teams, and other trades to avoid conflicts and maintain schedule.
- Perform pressure and leak testing, support inspections, and ensure code compliance.

The Project Plumber is a senior‑level commercial plumber responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial projects. The role demands strong technical skills, the ability to read plans and specifications, and the capacity to work independently while supporting job site productivity, safety, and quality. Candidates should have a proven background in commercial construction and be able to drive projects to completion.
Candidates must have at least eight years of commercial plumbing experience in new construction or renovations, solid knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and common pipe materials, and the ability to read blueprints with minimal supervision. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; a journeyman license, OSHA 10/30, backflow or medical gas certifications are considered advantageous.
