Description

Track publication of BARs, CABs and IORs.
Provide an independent judgment of the indicated outcome in the Budget Analysis Report (BAR) of individual projects and make recommendations.
Manage and evaluate Cost Department staff and train in project cost control and forecasting.
Attend all Operations Review Management (ORM) and project set-up meetings.
Evaluate data reported by Cost Analyst to ensure integrity of the data.
Identify risks on projects that will impact earnings and develop action plans to rectify risk issues.
Facilitate the monthly forecasting as it relates to profit center projections of revenue and earnings (Business Planning and Consolidation – BPC).
Ensure preparation of the final Cost Audited BAR (CAB) to reconcile to the final contract value and cost.
Train other departments and jobsite staff in cost control function.
Prepare financial information, forecasts and recommendations for Annual Plan.
Discuss project issues on a continual basis with the General Manager (GM) and the Financial Manager (FM).
Supervise the preparation of all cost reports, forecasts and other special studies as required.
