Description

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve construction issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on construction methods, materials, and schedules
• Inspection and Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other relevant documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Perform tests and inspections on materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards.

Requirements

Certifications: (e.g., ICC, NICET) are highly desirable.

• High School Diploma
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural or Geotechnical or Environmental or Electrical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations. o Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Construction Inspectors with 1+, 8+, and 15+ years of relevant experience could be considered. Experience in Maryland is preferred.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
