Role
Description

Prepare drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD
Assist with civil and structural design calculations for buildings, utilities, and infrastructure projects
Help prepare technical reports, specifications, and design narratives
Participate in project meetings and internal design reviews
Assist with quantity take-offs and cost estimates
Support grading, drainage, foundation, and structural system designs
Conduct site visits, field observations, and data collection as needed
Perform additional engineering support tasks as assigned
Support Senior Engineers on a variety of projects.
Review plans for coordination with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Exposure to AutoCAD drafting experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Candidate must have a firm grasp of engineering principles.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Candidates must be willing to travel for infrequent field assignments.
Must be a self-starter, excel in time management, and work well under pressure
Broad application of principles, theories and concepts in civil and/or structural engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Some experience with technical engineering software such as STAAD or ANSYS) and AutoCad.
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA with at least 60 hours of coursework completed
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
