The Maintenance Assistant provides support and is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents, including quality move‑ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention. This role is essential to helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service to multifamily residents at Circa Greenlake.
The position involves preparing market‑ready apartments, responding to resident requests in a timely and professional manner, performing routine maintenance tasks, and maintaining common‑area amenities such as grounds, pools, hot tubs, and dog parks. The assistant also reports maintenance concerns, follows fair‑housing laws, and adheres to company appearance and safety standards.
Key competencies include reading policy manuals and maintenance instructions, writing routine reports, applying common‑sense problem solving, and performing basic mathematical calculations. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift, carry, and manipulate up to 50 lb are required, as is adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education, and related experience. Preferred credentials include EPA 608 Type II, CPO, or a local certification relevant to the maintenance functions performed on the property.
The work environment is a professional office setting with regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders or stairs, and the occasional exertion of force up to 50 lb while performing maintenance duties.
