The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation, validation and analysis of all financials produced by the department. They also respond to inquiries and provide income statement analysis to Directors of Financial Operations and Controllers, which help to guide respective field offices in understanding and managing their profitability and financial performance. They play an active role in the annual budget process. A qualified candidate must demonstrate initiative, flexibility, innovation, urgency, and ability to work in a diverse setting.
- Produce monthly reporting which includes company, regional, office and director views
- Investigate ways to improve current reporting processes utilizing functionality of PeopleSoft queries and the Planning application
- Produce ad hoc reports and provide analysis as needed
- Provide variance explanation between budget, actual, year over year, and trending performance
- Participate in the annual budgeting process
- Assist stakeholders in understanding and utilizing reports produced by the department
- Conduct monthly income statement analysis and prepare journal entries when needed during the monthly close process.

- Hyperion Planning, Essbase and SmartView and EPM (EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS) experience plus
- Financial analysis experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excel proficiency Required
- Capacity to view the company, and our internal process, at a detailed level
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Capable of interacting with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Advanced business degree a plus
- Strong analytical ability with a focus on detail
- 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance related experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- People Soft and nVision experience preferred
