Accounting Administrator

This role is essential in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and managing the finance inbox. You’ll be part of a supportive team where accuracy, organisation, and teamwork make all the difference.

• Month-end support: Assisting with month-end journals (accruals/prepayments)
• Manage accounts receivable – raising invoices, issuing credit notes, and chasing overdue balances.
• Process supplier and intercompany invoices and prepare payment runs.
• Work with Operations and Purchasing on stock adjustments and GRNI balances.
• Support the release of sales orders by confirming prepayments.
• VAT TAX- Assisting with preparation of VAT returns or Intrastat submissions
• Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, credit cards, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Realex, Clover).
• Handle the finance inbox and incoming calls, resolving or escalating queries promptly.

• Strong communication skills with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
• Organised and able to manage high-volume daily banking activity.
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
• Exposure to both UK and Ireland finance operations.
• GCSEs / Leaving Certificate (including Maths and English) or equivalent; further accounting qualifications (e.g. AAT, IATI) an advantage.
• Must be within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes
• 2–5 years’ experience in an Accounts / Finance support role.
