Linux and software development experience an asset
Linux configuration and software development experience an asset
Degree or diploma in networking, computer science, or engineering
Strong understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP
Advanced Layer 2/3 networking (MSTP, BGP, MPLS, VRF, IPv6, QoS)
Programming experience (Perl, PHP, C, Java) an asset
Strong Layer 2/3 networking knowledge (VLAN, RSTP, OSPF, RIP, SNMP, QoS)
Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls
5+ years in a product development environment (industrial communications)
Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in a team
Security protocols (IPsec VPN, Firewalls)
