The Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Shermco’s vendor management and procurement processes. This role coordinates purchase orders, maintains supplier relationships, ensures compliance with company policies, and supports cost‑saving initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
In this position you will process purchase requisitions into purchase orders, support vendor onboarding, and monitor order delivery timelines. You will collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance to meet procurement needs efficiently, maintain records for audit readiness, and assist in supplier performance evaluation. Additionally, you will contribute to cost‑saving projects and serve as the primary contact for supplier inquiries.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least two years of procurement or administrative coordination experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and relationship‑building skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or procurement systems is preferred. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment is essential.
The position offers an hourly pay range of $24.03 to $26.44.
