What you would be doing

- Site inspections and resolving construction queries.
- Liaison with clients, architects, contractors, and external consultants.
- Ensuring quality and consistency across all technical outputs.
- Coordination of projects from initial concept through technical design to completion.
- Preparation of calculations, technical drawings, and reports.

- Chartered (IStructE or ICE) preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience on residential and commercial projects.
- At least 4 years’ relevant UK-based post-graduate experience.
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla / CADS or equivalent structural analysis software.
- Structural design and detailing across timber, steel, masonry, and concrete.
- Based locally to our offices in Rayne, Braintree
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods.
