As a Field Manager in the Cincinnati Division, you will manage the construction and delivery of new homes, ensuring quality, timeliness, cost control, and customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary contact for trade partners, customers, and internal associates for each home you oversee, taking pride in shaping cul‑de‑sacs, streets, and neighborhoods.
You will supervise trade partners and suppliers to achieve building standards, conduct homeowner meetings, walk‑throughs, and weekly updates, and identify and document recurring rework items to prevent future occurrences. Additionally, you will ensure that budget, schedule, and quality standards are met or exceeded on every home.
Success in this role comes from quickly evaluating real data to solve problems within company policies, communicating daily with customers and trade partners in a direct, factual style, and approaching each day in a systematic, orderly way.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree focused on construction management, engineering, or a related field, and prior experience in project management or residential construction.
The position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods, walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders, lift approximately 50 lb unassisted, and perform movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching, while using protective gear and enduring varied weather and site conditions.
Fischer Homes, one of the largest builders in the Midwest and Southeast, values diversity and treats each associate as a valuable team member. The company offers professional development training, tuition reimbursement, competitive compensation, 401(k) matching with profit‑sharing, life insurance, personal time off, and inclusive leave, and upholds the highest ethical standards.
