Industrial design and evaluation of products for improved product user interaction (UI/UX)
Design of machined, sheet metal and cast parts
Conduct feasibility studies of designs and concepts using engineering principles and FEA software
Develop and coordinate with vendors to provide finished work that meets requirements
Serve as subject matter expert for product external design including industrial design, plastic molded part design and user interfaces
Serve as a mentor to other mechanical engineers and designers in areas of expertise
Perform hands-on assembly, testing and troubleshooting of prototypes to ensure design requirements are met
