While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Completes work related paperwork and forms.
Plans and lays out work assignments from blueprints or other specifications sets up and operates appropriate sheet metal working machines and shapes the proper gauge sheet.
Follows safety practices and procedures and keeps work area clean.

Must be willing to work overtime when required.
Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check.
Must have at least four (4) years’ commercial journeymen level experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic performing the above stated duties.
Must have and maintain a valid state drivers’ license.
Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, reach overhead and lift 50 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalency.
The employee must be able to hear and speak.
The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Lifts exceeding 50 pounds will be accomplished with two-man teams and using appropriate safety equipment to efficiently accomplish the task.
