Description

In this role you will be the go‑to MEP/CIVIL expert, responsible for managing all mechanical, engineering and plumbing activities from planning and design through procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and final handover. You will gather and deliver client requirements, support the design manager with scheduling, value engineering and change management, assist the contract manager with procurement and variation orders, and aid the construction manager with installation, site inspection and contractor oversight.

You will drive the full project lifecycle—initiating, designing, planning, executing, monitoring and closing—by defining scope, objectives and budgeting, allocating resources, and ensuring projects stay within budget. You will also coordinate tender analysis, procurement and act as the client’s representative from start to finish.

You will identify potential MEP/CIVIL risks, especially health‑ and safety concerns, design mitigation strategies and report issues to the Project Manager.

• Manage all MEP/CIVIL activities from planning through handover.
• Collect and deliver client MEP/CIVIL requirements; support design, contract and construction managers.
• Lead full project lifecycle, defining scope, objectives, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Coordinate tender analysis, procurement and act as client representative throughout projects.
• Build high‑performing teams and promote JLL’s brand to secure new opportunities.
• Identify and mitigate MEP/CIVIL risks, especially health and safety issues.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a degree in MEP/CIVIL engineering or a related discipline, has at least five years of combined education and work experience, and possesses solid construction site‑management skills, financial appraisal, risk management and negotiation expertise. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, BMS, security, AV and IT systems is required.

A business‑savvy leader with strong communication skills in English and Chinese will deliver business‑development presentations, manage site activities, negotiate with contractors, review legal contract aspects, contribute to market analysis and handle change orders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential to create a proactive environment, motivate employees, maintain client relationships and solve problems effectively.

• Hold a degree in MEP/CIVIL engineering or related field with ≥5 years combined education and experience.
• Demonstrated construction site‑management, financial appraisal, risk management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, BMS, security, AV and IT systems.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills in English and Chinese for presentations and negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate staff, maintain client relationships and drive results.
