Construction Manager

Description

To lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction activities at the project site, ensuring works are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

• Attend and lead progress meetings; provide updates and reports to management.
• Ensure alignment with project cost, quality, and time objectives.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of all MEP systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies across all MEP activities.
• Develop and monitor MEP project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the execution, coordination, and supervision of all MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, ELV, etc.).
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays in MEP execution.
• Manage and lead MEP teams (Engineers, Supervisors, and Foremen) to ensure effective progress and productivity.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules to ensure accurate implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in MEP construction, including 5+ years in a managerial role (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings / commercial / villa projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and local authority regulations.
