Intermediate Interior Designer

Description

The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented designer with a strong design foundation and a desire to take on increasing responsibility. In this role, you will play an active part in shaping sophisticated interior environments, supporting projects from early concept development through construction and installation. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers and project partners while continuing to grow your technical and creative skill set.

• Help track project milestones, deliverables, and design updates
• Support the design and delivery of high-end residential and commercial interior projects across all phases
• Participate in design critiques, project meetings, and site coordination as needed
• Coordinate with project team members, consultants, and vendors to maintain project momentum
• Contribute to the development of construction documentation and interior detailing
• Assist in concept development, space planning, and material and finish selections
• Assist with FF&E research, specification, and procurement documentation
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and presentation materials that clearly communicate design intent

Requirements

A boutique, design-forward interior design studio is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join its team and contribute to a portfolio of thoughtfully crafted high-end residential and commercial projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field from an accredited program
• Strong design eye with a thoughtful approach to materials, color, and spatial composition
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• 4–7 years of professional experience working on high-end residential and/or commercial interior projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with SketchUp or Revit is a plus
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of construction documentation and interior detailing
