Participating in project strategy meetings within the discipline, develops design concepts and recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outlines specifications.
Production of well-organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness.
Coordinating work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions in drawings and specifications.
Directing technical efforts of discipline interns, designers, technicians, and subordinate engineers assigned to the project.
Assisting Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and response to requests for information.

p.e. license

civil degree

Working knowledge of Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or InRoads
Experience with geometric design, drainage design, construction sequencing and utility relocation coordination
Experience with roadway/highway design projects for cities, municipalities, and/or state DOTs
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
