You will work alongside a team of talented engineers to develop the future of hybrid robots for power line coating. This comes with valuable experience designing, building and testing mutirotors UAVs while supporting field testing and deployments at our customers’ sites nationally and internationally.

  • Design and integration of hybrid robotics systems.
  • Work on groundbreaking technology revolutionizing the power grid.
  • Technical documentation of integration processes and clear dissemination of test results. Collaboration with production engineers to streamline platform development.
  • Design and integration mechanical components to integrate sensors and other mechatronics subsystems with the UAV.
  • UAV field testing and debugging using telemetry and flight logs.

We’re looking for ambitious, mission-driven individuals who are excited to work hard alongside their colleagues to build and deploy world-leading technology that tackles some of the planet’s most urgent infrastructure challenges.

  • Knowlege of multirotor UAV dynamics and components.
  • Experience working with Arduino microcontrollers and Linux based embedded computers, Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, or similar.
  • UAV hardware and software integration including flight controllers, sensors, propulsion, power, communication, and computation.
  • Familiarity of different levels of autonomy of UAVs.
  • Practical experience with flight controllers, PX4 or similar.
  • Rich hand-on experience working with various flight sensors.
  • Experience in building and flying multirotors UAVs.
  • Experience developing sensor interfaces using, CAN, UDP, I2C.
  • Programming skills in Python and C/C++.
  • A bachelor’s or master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • 3D CAD design using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar.
  • Familiarity with robotics simulation software and testing pipelines.
  • UK and international drone pilot qualifications.
