  • Support 3D printing operations, including file preparation, material selection, and printer maintenance/troubleshooting

ERG is hiring an experienced Electronics Technician to lead and support a wide variety of environmental systems design and fabrication projects. This position will lead and support an onsite client-site electronics shop while providing design and development expertise of prototype electronic sensor packages to support various research initiatives. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, client-facing role that will require innovative thinking and rapid implementation.

  • A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in designing and fabricating electronic systems
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in an electronics/electrical focused role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
  • Extensive experience in implementing organizational quality assurance plans and quality management practices
  • Experience in writing scientific, technical, quality assurance, and health & safety documents
  • Proficient in making precision compression and soldered connections for both power -and signal wiring applications
  • Skilled in the use of soldering tools and compression terminals to ensure high-reliability -connections
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related technical discipline
