  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to EITs and engineering interns, fostering growth and professional development.
  • Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; participate in proposal and contract development.
  • Conduct occasional field-based activities, including site visits, inspections, and coordination with construction services.
  • Perform and oversee QA/QC reviews, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes, client standards, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and review design plans, specifications, estimates, and technical calculations for bridge and transportation-related projects.
  • Manage structural design efforts on multiple simultaneous projects for TxDOT, cities, counties, MUDs, and tolling authorities.
  • Lead the planning and structural design of bridges, junction boxes, retaining walls, and water/wastewater plant structures.
  • Attend design meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and develop strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, business development, and client retention.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the structural design of concrete bridges and related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as:
  • STAAD, Robot, Bridge Link, or similar tools
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering plans and specifications for clients such as TxDOT, municipalities, and counties.
  • Bridge Geometry System (BGS)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
