The role is responsible for managing critical functions related to investment analysis, capital allocation, and the execution of strategic company initiatives, while providing support to the team in financial planning and analysis. It promotes the adoption of a structured approach to investment evaluations, ensuring transparent information is delivered to management. The position is designated for a UAE national.
Key responsibilities include performing detailed financial and risk assessments of investment proposals, ensuring adherence to the Investment Framework, and contributing to capital allocation decisions through data‑driven analysis. The incumbent will also support credit analysis, engage with rating agencies, and drive strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions or capital raises. Additional duties involve preparing investment appraisals, managing transaction processes, and consolidating financial planning inputs across the organization.
Candidates should have a minimum of ten years of experience in a diversified financial environment, preferably within a publicly listed company generating at least AED 3 billion in annual revenue, and at least two years in a managerial role. Prior exposure to project financial structuring, complex financing schemes, and capital‑intensive industries is essential, along with a solid understanding of MENA markets and funding mechanisms.
The ideal candidate is proficient in Bloomberg, advanced Excel financial modeling (including DCF, real‑estate, merger and comparable analyses), and accounting principles. Strong presentation, communication, and project‑management abilities are required, as well as a high work ethic, teamwork, and conflict‑resolution skills to manage tasks within schedule and budget.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business is required, complemented by an MBA or Master’s in finance from a top‑ranked institution. Professional qualifications such as the CFA are highly desirable.
