Director, Solutions Architecture

This role combines hands-on architecture leadership with cross-functional delivery ownership, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that support business growth.

You’ll be a key connector between business and technology — interpreting goals, defining technical direction, and leading delivery teams toward cohesive, modern, and cloud-native solutions.

• Oversee proof-of-concept efforts to evaluate emerging technologies and cloud-native design patterns.
• Lead end-to-end architecture design for enterprise systems, balancing security, scalability, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline workflows and automate operational processes.
• Assess third-party integrations and external systems for scalability, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
• Partner with stakeholders on project planning, releases, and delivery schedules while ensuring consistent execution quality.
• Define and maintain technical architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across multiple engineering teams and vendor partners.
• Translate business priorities into cloud-based, cost-efficient solutions leveraging modern development frameworks and architectural patterns.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with load testing, security, and accessibility testing frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of API integration, architecture visualization, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or TestRail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business domains.
• Deep experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade web and eCommerce applications that are scalable and secure.
• Strong grasp of user experience principles, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce functionality, including product catalogs, carts, and payment systems.
• Prior architecture leadership experience in eCommerce or digital platforms.
• Strong command of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery models.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js) and .NET-based technologies (.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, Blazor).
• Demonstrated experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, networking, IAM, etc.) and cloud security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with hospitality, consumer, or events-related digital ecosystems.
• Experience implementing QA automation, performance testing, and non-functional validation methods.
• Understanding of data analytics and instrumentation tools (Amplitude, Snowflake, Segment).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar cloud certification preferred.
• Proven background leading modernization initiatives and technology transformations.
• Familiarity with CMS, WXP, or DXP systems (e.g., Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager, Liferay, or similar).
• Skilled at managing multiple concurrent programs, vendor relationships, and distributed delivery teams.
